Visions of the future

My first mural commission of the year/decade is interestingly enough about the future as imagined by the minds of the the 1960's. I did the pencil sketch at about 2" x 4" and scanned it to add color in Photoshop. The wall itself is 8' x 16' so this is essentially a thumbnail. It shows basic color palette and overal composition.

The client saw these and immediately responded with further direction that makes this initial concept obsolete. I'll be going back to the drawing board with a lot more to be excited about. More on this sometime....in the future!!!!!
